Brooklyn tribute to Dr Martin Luther King Jr
Now in its 29th year, Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) hosts programming committed to the civilian rights leader, whose birthday is observed as a national holiday. This year, compelling officer and activist Dr Cornel West will accord an essential speech, followed by music from a local choir and a performance by the body accompanist Sandra St Victor.
